Refresher Scuba/ Discover Local Diving

Service Description

This continuing education course is a non-certification course that offers supervised refresher experience at the Scuba Diver level for divers who need to re-establish proficiency due to diving inactivity. This is also a great way for divers to get acquainted with the unique local conditions when getting out to dive in Okinawa for the first time. Prerequisites:  Age: Minimum is 15 years  Certification/Experience/Knowledge: Certification as a NAUI Scuba Diver or the equivalent is required. The instructor is to ensure adequate student knowledge and capability before any open water training. For participants with no diving activity during the 12-month period preceding the Refresher Scuba course, water skill evaluation and necessary refresher training in confined water is required before open water activity is permitted. This may include, but is not limited to, knowledge development, quick review forms, in-water skill checks, dive planning, and gas management comprehension.
