Rescue Scuba Diver

Service Description

Develop the skills to recognize, prevent, and respond to diving emergencies. This challenging and rewarding course builds confidence and prepares divers to assist others. Course includes training such as self-rescue skills, out-of-air scenarios, distressed and unconscious divers submerged and on the surface. Prerequisites:  Age: Minimum is 15 years  Certification/Experience/Knowledge: Certification as a NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver or the equivalent is required. One open water dive (which does not count toward the minimum number of dives required for the course) may be used as a screening and evaluation dive. This is not required when the student’s diving proficiencies are well known to the instructor. *CPR and First Aid must be current to participate. Naui Diver First Aid may be offered as a package bundle course. If Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR & First Aid and Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries (EO2) certification are not offered as part of the course, a current equivalent certification is required.
